It's been so weird going back to Honolulu. But I've loved it so far. Before I left Kekaha, we got to see Alana! We went by her house Sunday night just as she got home. I said I was leaving and she said "No! We have to talk before one you guys leave!" So we ended up seeing her and talking with her and she said she still wants to be baptized! She said she was grateful for everything I've helped teach her.
I saw Elder Thompson at the airport when I flew in. Turns out me, and several other missionaries that I served with in h-tech ce back to Oahu at the same time. I thought we were going back to h-tech.

Well the Samoan ward members are awesome! My first night, we had dinner with the Ulima family. Their grandma basically spoke only Samoan which was cool. I think I'm gonna have to learn some Samoan. We talked to the bishop on Sunday and he said to just get close to the members and visit a lot of people.
Well that got kinda hard when I started getting a cold last Thursday. I was basically down for like a whole 3 days. A lot of missionaries in Hawaii got sick at the same time. But I'm feeling better now thank goodness.
One thing I'm pretty scared of is Thanksgiving. 4 dinners planned so far! I'm gonna get huge! I'm excited though. Samoan holidays sound like a blast. I'm glad I've been companions with a Samoan before. Remember Elder Tipa?
Most of the work we're doing right now is visiting the members everywhere. And also helping these two kids prepare for baptism. We met this awesome lady named Kim! We were trying to find one member, and then thus really nice lady walked right for us and gave us Powerade and Cheetos. We made her a new friend and had an awesome lesson with her recently.
Well that's the update and I'm pretty excited for this change. I miss Kauai (like anyone would
) but I'm liking it here with my companion Elder Walker.
